Tuesday, March 15, 2011

Dear Boone,

It's early in the morning. Almost six-thirty and I'm eating breakfast, which is lunch food. Left over curry stew, brown and wild rice. Vegetables of broccoli, cauliflower, and soybeans.
Retweeted Ian Somerhakder's tweet: Good morning you beautiful humans! Fellow humans in Japan need our help--I just did this, easiest thing ever Please text redcross to 90999.
His tweet that I retweeted could be seen above the tweet that I retweeted late last night: What you eat may save a baby seal. Sign the 2011 pledge to boycott Canadian Seafood: http://bit.ly/gao:JO (via @HumaneSociety) #sealhunt.
After eating, it's the regular routine schedule that is similar as to yesterday, which is reading (screenwriting books, Dr. Phil McGraw's Love Smart, and The Vampire Diaries: The Struggle) and writing (taking handwritten notes on The Vampire Diaries: The Struggle chapter that I had just read and my "Story to Write" novel).
When I'm done reading these books and start to read different books, I will let you know, Boone. And this includes finishing a novel. I already completed handwriting a first draft novel last year. It's titled California Dreams: Last Week of Summer. Later, when I have more time, I will fill you in on letting you know about a chapter excerpt. The time is 7:26 a.m. Hawaii.
Boone, this is interesting. Just read Dr. Phil McGraw's Love Smart. Today's relationship lesson is writing a character of "him." In order to write such a character, I would need to answer the following question: Who exactly, precisely, specifically do I consider to be a quality guy?
     A quality guy.
Who is he, Boone? Do you know, exactly? What is a quality guy? Well, for starters, according to "Dr. Phil," the qualities that initially attract me to a man are not necessarily the ones that will make him a good long-term partner. Interesting, once again. Analyze. Hum.
     The time is 9:09 a.m.
Finished reading Chapter One of The Vampire Diaries: The Struggle. The copyright of this novel is 1991. Back then, my entire life had been different. And, Boone, that is another story. Long story. View the photographs in this diary. A picture speaks a thousand words.
     It's 10:21 a.m.
Less than a second ago, I moved the laptop computer to Mabel's bedroom. Justin, an employee at Oceanic Time Warner Cable, arrived to set up the cable box and wiring inside her (my mother) room. Bedroom. Let you know, Boone, if the "hacker" continues to control the laptop computer.
     It's 3:45 p.m.
Printed the Ala Moana Beach and Diamond Head photos, but on the beach scene of the ocean (Twitter background) the printer jammed the paper and so it's stuck, printer not working. Pieces of crumbled paper still left jammed inside the printer! The time? 5:05 in the late afternoon.
Drove to OfficeMax at Ala Moana Blvd. Bought a total of $134.00 in office supplies. Not to be used as a "work office" setting, but a home-based writing environment. Why? There is a hacker who controls and damages what I do while on the laptop computer. I even asked this male employee a question in regards of my woes:
"Can a hacker get into a typewriter?" I questioned.
The male employee, at the cash register said, "No. If you have a computer, yes."
Good. that solves the hacker problem. Now, I can finally work! And send a tweet to the actor Ian Somerhalder, who portrayed the "Lost" character named Boone. I already sent him a tweet reply while I was sitting in the Kia car at the Honolulu Best Buy store:

@iansomerhalder I'm tweeting from my mobile phone. At the Honolulu Best Buy store. Saw you in Glamour magazine. Tweet when I arrive home.

Today has been another long day, but at least I'm able to start typing my first drafts and notes. Plus, in addition, creating our "Dear Boone" diary. Good night. There is always tomorrow.

Monday, March 14, 2011

Dear Boone,

Good morning. Up and awake at 5:30 a.m. Fed Midnight, our black cat, his food and water. I'm eating now as I'm writing in this diary. Afterwards, wash dishes, clean the kitchen sink (Monday weekly routine), pick or, should I say, scoop up Midnight's poop and/or urine. The opposite. Urine and/or poop. Then onto my daily schedule of reading and writing: Television and Screenwriting From Concept to Contract, The Complete Book of Screenwriting, and love Smart by Dr. Phil McGraw.
Before I finished reading two pages of The Complete Book of Screenwriting and Love Smart I was busy trying to figure out how to view the iPhone4 2GB usage data and setting up the e-mail accounts, including AT&T. Now, I'll turn the laptop computer on and change my Twitter picture. Hopefully, there isn't that same "hacker" around waiting to control what I do on the Internet. The time is 9:26 a.m.
Guess what, Boone? I tried changing my Twitter picture and couldn't. The only sign I saw was a moving circle. No saved changes to my profile picture. Scary, huh? Probably, this picture would change later on, if ever. If and when it does change, my profile picture, I'll let you know.
Oh! Tweeted on the iPhone4: Tried to change my Twitter picture and there was a circle. For the longest time. No saved photo change. Waiting for the right "time." Then when I pressed the "tweet" button, my new picture had been displayed along with this tweet that I sent.
Boone, tweeted another tweet under my pen name "Sherry_Kate." See? What I tell you. Can you imagine? Blows my mind, totally! The time? 10:08 a.m.
Today's island weather is blue skies and sunshine. I'm eating a bagel with organic cream cheese along with a healthy and natural granola bar. So, from now on, I'm writing to you, Boone, during the morning as well as in the night.
Finished reading L.J. Smith's The Vampire Diaries: The Awakening. What a coincidence. The actor Ian Somerhalder who portrays Damon Salvatore in The Vampire Diaries surely is an exact look-a-like replica of you, Boone. Rare features. Handsome. Always a mystery. Tomorrow, I'll start reading, The Struggle. It's the second volume of The Vampire Diaries
I'm also trying to write without the use of my laptop computer and the old desktop computer that I purchased so long ago in the year 1998. The money came from my grandparents' house. A lawyer contacted my aunty Nancy, now deceased, to inform her about my grandparents' property. I guess their house had been sold. The will was under their grandchildren's names.
This 1998 desktop computer was in my mother's bedroom. But since I have been having difficulty using the laptop computer, I moved the "desktop" to the living room. It's on the desk that once had been where I placed this troublesome hacker invaded laptop computer. Still, however, no success. Encountering similar problems. As a result, buy a brand new computer. Of course, when the amount of my visa Chase credit card decreases and becomes much lower. Available credit. United Airlines. A long story.
Paul Wesley, confirmed by Julie Plec, has his own Twitter account. The time is 3:33 p.m. In between these times, I exercised, showered, sent Ian Somerhalder a tweet, and ate papaya, slices of orange, and an apple.
The Internet on the laptop isn't responding. Not responding. Can't check my gmail account at SherryKateStJohn10@gmail.com. Need to visit the Pearl City Public Library. Luckily, last week, I scheduled to reserve a computer at seven o' clock this evening.
Sent a new tweet to Ian Somerhalder:
@iansomerhalder just turned on the laptop computer. Saw that Paul Wesley signed up on Twitter. I couldn't check my gmail (Not Responding).
Plus forgot to mention that Steven R. McQueen still doesn't have his own Twitter account. At 4:42 p.m. I read two pages of The Complete Idiot's Guide to Creative Writing. Learning to write nonfiction and essays. I can choose a topic or use a topic of this book (The Complete Idiot's Guide to Creative Writing), which is "the positive aspects of living in your region greatly outweigh the negative ones." The length is 700 words. Brainstorm an idea topic.
But for now, I'm searching for pictures to add to this diary, Boone. And then afterwards, I'll prepare an egg and crouton organic salad dinner. As soon as I finished eating, I will drive to the Pearl City Library. Note: I will remember to include past and present essays in this diary.
Arrived home. Midnight ate his food. Printed information about stigmata, four pages that I donated 15 cents to the library. While I was here, I tweeted two tweets to Ian Somerhalder:

1) Hell has come? I'm researching about stigmata & postmortem. This is for my novel "Story to Write." Not sure what to publish.

2) Hi darling. At the Pearl City Library. Ask a personal health question: Do you smoke?" If so, then we are online friends.

No new tweets from Ian Somerhalder this late night. Tweeted information that came out of my yahoo! e-mail. It's about signing a petition to help end the Canadian Harp Seal Hunt. Spring, March 2011. When will this annual slaughtering end? Tomorrow is another day, another hope.

Sunday, March 13, 2011

Dear Boone,

Life isn't easy nowadays. Just sent a tweet to Ian Somerhalder, saying that my laptop computer is scary. Has a mind of its own.
Can't spend too much tonight writing in this diary, Boone. Came home late after driving to Don Quijote and Walmart. Both located near the Ala Moana Shopping Center. My photos, CD, and mouse pad costs almost $82.00.
I'll tweet again before I go to sleep. Wake-up fifteen minutes earlier than before at 5:30 a.m. instead of the usual at 5:45 a.m.

Saturday, March 12, 2011

Dear Boone,

Got back home (mother's house in Waipahu) after walking at the Ala Moana Beach Park in Honolulu. Couldn't concentrate staying home, writing. So much problems with my laptop computer and the old faithful desktop computer that I bought in 1998. The hard drive light was on. Found a way to pull out the plug and reinsert it back in. But then the Internet on the laptop computer wasn't functioning properly. Problem. So I disconnected all of the wires out of the plug and out of the cable box. Exercised, shower, fruit bowl. Then reinserted these wires back in the plug and the cable box. Still didn't work, so I turned off the power switch and turned it back on. The power lights remained all lit, thankfully.
While I was at the park, I sent a tweet to Ian Somerhalder: Sherry_Kate---@iansomerhalder oops. I'm still trying to get adjusted to my mobile phone. At the Ala Moana Beach Park, taking a walk. My Facebook profile site is up.
And tweeted a tweet when I arrived at my mother's house in Waipahu:

Sherry_Kate I arrived home, fed Midnight, and eating dark chocolate. Not the whole candy, but only a piece. Read and write. Don't worry. Take a break.

Sherry_Kate I have been awake since 5:45 a.m. Fed my black cat Midnight his food and water. Now, like yesterday, I'm searching the news.

Sherry_Kate @iansomerhalder had a hard day today! Already started handwriting my "Dear Boone" diary. And note: Mabel my mother eats the Clif bars.

Sherry_Kate @iansomerhalder or should I say our? Our "Dear Boone" diary?

Sherry_Kate This is a scary weird scenario. I read Ian Somerhalder's older tweets and he seems to have the same "name" problem that I have been having

Sherry_Kate I will change my name from Sheri Lois Lane Shibuya to Sherry-Kate Elizabeth St. John after I finish handwriting both of these novels.

Sherry_Kate So that there will be no major confusion during the time when I publish my two books (Story to Write & Calif. Dreams: Last Week of Summer),

Sherry_Kate It is that "time" again to check on retweeting these tweets that I so happen to follow:

Sherry_Kate If you say that you are me, then I will file a complaint, saying that YOU are an unwanted spy who only knows how to hack my laptop computer.

Sherry_Kate Currently watching CNN news video on the Internet. Perhaps I will not change my real name, but think about it! And don't go far to think!

Feel depressed that there is somebody controlling the laptop computer every day. Mabel called Time Warner Cable to have an employee move the cable box to her bedroom. No two computers are at the same place. Space.
I also didn't get time to do a few writing. What writing, you may ask, Boone? Well, the title of this novel is Story To Write. I'm currently on Chapter 13. Maybe I could even squeeze in to write a sentence or two, paragraph, now.
As always, I'll talk to you again tomorrow. The conversation might be different, depending on the day, or I'll pick up where I left off, which is what I had written on Friday.

Friday, March 11, 2011

Dear Boone,

The time is 9:17 p.m. I'm at home now. Home at my mother's house in Waipahu. At the same spot, sitting on the carpet floor within Julie's old bedroom. There are no beds, but a radio, two television sets, books, and exercise equipments.
Drove to the Safeway grocery store at Kapahulu Avenue. Sent a tweet to the actor Ian Somerhalder, letting him know that although this is crazy, he is my Twitter partner (just like Boone, a best friend) and I'm buying Cosmo and NYLON magazines.
Yesterday night after I had written to you in my diary, I searched the Web, checking Twitter. At this moment, Ian Somerhalder didn't tweet any new tweets. I saw a famous actress' and her husband's tweets. "Heartbreaking." The first word I read. Then I read a tweet from the Seattle Times. Shocking. An 8.9 magnitude earthquake struck Japan, causing a tidal wave (tsunami). Hawaii was in danger of becoming the next target to receive such devastation.
I tried to send a tweet, explaining the Seattle Times' retweet that I had earlier sent. But read a "bad request" reply. Then after that, my iPhone4 couldn't connect to the Internet. Frantically, I walked down the stairs to inform my mother Mabel about a tsunami hitting Oahu. The sirens were blaring loudly. Uncle Douglas was fast asleep with the TV turned on to the local news. Mabel didn't talk much. She closed her bedroom door and also went to sleep. Amazing. Then I walked to the living room and sat on the stool, turned the laptop computer on, and sent a pleading tweet to my Twitter partner, Ian Somerhalder: Sorry to bother you this late at night, but I know you're a newsworthy guy and a caring individual: Japan and Hawaii survive. After I wrote another tweet, regarding the island beaches would be "okay" and Japan needs help:
When I'm awake, the following morning, I hope life would be "okay" and our beaches would be safe. Japan, on the other hand, needs help.
The following morning, Ian Somerhalder tweeted a message about this tragedy. He tweeted: I'm so so so sorry Japan as well as everywhere and everyone effected by this horrific event. Speechless. Help is on the way.
And then I quickly sent him a reply tweet: So happy to read your tweet this morning. I'm up, eating rice & curry stew. Lunch for breakfast. Next, I'll read the news.
Let us talk about the current issue of this week's Entertainment Weekly's front cover Lost tomorrow night. In addition, the Cosmopolitan and NYLON magazines, which I'm going to read right now.

Thursday, March 10, 2011

Dear Boone,

Just arrived home a half hour ago from Whole Foods. It's located outside of the Kahala Mall Shopping Center. It's not far in distance away. Next to the sliding door entrance to the mall. Bought three extra firm tofu, all are organic, of course. Need to be careful about the foods that are GMO. Also from the hot food bar are shoyu chicken, mashed potatoes, spring rolls, chicken tofu, and bread pudding. Buffet style.
Sent a tweet to Ian Somerhalder about this "Dear Boone: A Love Diary." Not to mention, a possible novel. He didn't send me any unsupportive reply, saying that I can't, so I would say that this diary of Boone and him would be "okay" for me to write.
Midnight, our black cat, arrived in the room (Julie's former bedroom). he is on the floor, laying, no, lying on the carpet next to me. He will be 3 years old this May. This is the month when I took him home.
A thought occurred in my mind. I'll write the title of this novel as "Boone's Island." he desires to live on an island instead of moving to the mainland. The 48 states of the United States of America. So here is what I have for us, Boone. You and I or you and my character:

1) Main Characters: John "Boone" Silverman or Boone Silverman and Barbara Josephine Baker

2) Story Setting:      The island of Oahu (Downtown, North Shore, Waikiki)

3) Plot of Story:     Barbara helps Boone get a job at the Burger Cafe where she works as a cashier. He keeps her company after school. He is her study partner.

Boone also is a compulsive burger eater, smokes, and snores. All of these are bad habits that need to be changed, which he ultimately does change for Barbara who is a coffee and soda drinker. An addict. She, too, tries to change her caffeine addictive ways of drinking two cups of coffee a day and sodas only during the weekends.

Note: This novel is entirely focused on building relationships. About my iPhone4. It's working. Especially the web and Twitter. When I checked Ian's tweets, at home, he had tweeted a new tweet after I tweeted a tweet at Kinkos. Amazing. Just like that.

Wednesday, March 9, 2011

Dear Boone,

The time is several minutes past 9:15 p.m. Fed our black cat Midnight and ate my snack, a dried prune and a banana. Before this, I was at the Best Buy store in Pearl City where I finally purchased an iPhone4 and a Hello Kitty case. A female employee named Tannisha helped me to buy this mobile smartphone.
Last early evening I was here, at this same Best Buy store, and a Middle Eastern looking man tried to help me. I told him about the hacker problem that somebody controls my laptop computer and I need to buy a phone that a hacker couldn't break into. As a result, I knew about purchasing an iPhone4 and the monthly plan to activate this new mobile smartphone---AT&T---afterwards, I drove to Kinkos, which is located within the Pearl City area. Felt a sensation of relief when I could freely send a tweet to the actor Ian Somerhalder. No hacker around to jam up the system as I typed.
Returning to our novel, I think to make my character work at an eating place called Burger Cafe while attending classes at a nearby university. Remember "my" is "a." A character. But she still writes and posts news stories online. And as for you, Boone, life is rather simple. You have goals and ambitions. Dreams. Although you contacted your family in the mainland, you want to live on the island of Oahu. The Hawaiian Islands.
End for now. Tomorrow, there is more. I'll try to see or learn how to use my new iPhone4 and I will let you know about this too.

Tuesday, March 8, 2011

Dear Boone,

The laptop computer is still the same. A "hacker" tries to control what I do every day. Everyday. It's beginning to feel scary. An invasion of privacy. Appears that he uses what I type into my Twitter account and miraculously changes the form, depending on what is happening at the moment along with the certain time. In addition to all of this, there are so many pop ups, including those that appears "available."
I know what you are thinking. Sounds as though I don't like him. Well, you're absolutely right, Boone, because he isn't you. I'm receiving Social Security disability. Once a month. It's not that I'm disabled, meaning that I can't learn or function as a normal human being. Something unpleasant happened to me in the past. i hanged out with the wrong crowd. you will read about them in this diary. Now on to something new. What else happened today besides all of these troubles? Drove to the library and borrowed four books: Mixed Plate and Noodles by Toby Swanson; The Beach Bums by Jack Owen; The Shores of Paradise by Shirely Streshinsky; and Hotel Honolulu by Paul Theroux.
Think I'll write a novel about us, you and I, living in the island of Oahu. Hawaii. I need a thirsty plot to get me started. How about a mystery? A romance novel? A comedy? Hum. How about a mystery background setting that is mixed with romantic conversations along with a good sense of humor personalities. Emphasis on the word "sense." Not critical, but supportive. The title of this first novel is "Like Home Time."
The plot? My boyfriend Boone whose fictional name, other than Boone Carlyle, is John "Boone" Silverman returns home to Oahu after attending a training seminar in New York City. the name of my character? Barbara Josephine Baker. I'm a cashier at a health food store. I also write news stories on the Internet.
What if Boone hadn't died and he was rescued or encountered another person, namely me, once again, which is actually a made up character named as Barbara Jossephine Baker. So Boone's plane crashed somewhere in the island of Oahu.
Wait. Am I repeating myself? If so and probably is, then "sorry." Anyway, continuing on, my character, Barbara Josephine Baker, at this time, was driving along or on the roadway, heading to a farmer's market. A surprisingly attractive guy waved, signaling, for me, to stop. I didn't, of course. But thought that I should have done so at stopping the car. After all, he is good-looking. The thought had crossed my mind. I thought of him, thinking about him while I was at the farmer's market. A marketplace near or within the North Shore. I stayed for about an hour, buying fresh fruits and vegetables. Out of the blue and out of nowhere, I saw him. While I was walking to my parked car. The attractive guy standing on the side of the road. He waved at me, hoping to catch a ride. He stares and smiles.
Oh, darn. The time is almost ten-thirty at night. I'll continue writing this story plot tomorrow. Good night, Boone. Write during the night. Later, during the day and night. But for now night. You're my day and night partner.

Monday, March 7, 2011

Dear Boone,

It's five minutes past ten o' clock at night and I just began to write in this diary. My laptop computer is acting up or, in other words, I think that there is a "live" hacker who is taking control over what I do on the Internet and, in addition, the computer program files that I had been writing, no, typing the contents of my stories. This is why I haven't been doing any work on the laptop computer. Only handwriting the words down on paper.
Needed help and guidance in seeking or should I say finding and building relationships. As a result, I've been reading a book titled "Love Smart" by Dr. Phil McGraw. A positive insight into finding and keeping Mr. Right or the man of my dreams. Amazingly, I think to have found him on Twitter. He looks a lot like you Boone. His name is Ian Somerhalder, an actor who was on the TV show "Lost" and most recently on the TV show "The Vampire Diaries." I even wrote to him, sending tweets to @iansomerhalder.
The time is 10:30 p.m. Hawaii time, which is the regular and current time that I prepare to go to sleep. Health reasons. I'll write more about this subject of discussion in another diary entry. Plus my thoughts about the television shows "Lost" and "The Vampire Diaries." Not to mention the news, religion, what I write, and everyday life. My life. It's seen at the end of this diary in pictures and in brief words description format.
